AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Fire emblem is really fun to play, it also requires some strategy. I just wanted to make thread to discuss favorite characters games and other stuff about with you guys (plus there was no other general fire emblem thread i thought I should make one)

I like Blazing Sword.

Sacred stones has easy and painless level grinding. Great way to train a low level long range attacker: Put a high defense unit at a chokepoint with no weapons, and shoot from afar with your long range unit.

I like to train ranged units the most

I just don't like knights, they have so much defense, and they are a pain when you don't have a armor slayer/magic user/rapier at hand

thieves and rouges are fast to avoid physical attacks but it sucks when they DO get hit

I've been meaning to play Path of Radiance again, I haven't played that in years.
Normally I play Shadow Dragon for the DS, but I've played through that one so much I got really bored of it.

Eddie from Radiant Dawn is best myrmidon

Oh please, they can survive just as long as generals can. Also assassins with their one hit ko skill can be useful.

Alternatively, a sword master can destroy anything with a high crit weapon.

I wish sacred swords Roy was like AZ's Roy

That reminds me, I never did get around to beating FE7...

Oswin was my best unit in that game by far. Nothing could hurt him except for magic and poison and even then the damage was minimal. :'D He and Hector were a one-man army, especially with a B support between them. I would've gone for an A but I wanted Hector to get with Lyn at the end, so... yeah

I was basically able to power through any scenario in Sacred Stones using one of the Mage people and a powerleveled Ross. Even most bosses didn't even manage to hit them.

Then my save battery died ;_;

This settles it.

I will play through Path of Radiance again.

Oscar is pretty awesome, he's probably the best Cavalier/Paladin/Horsey-dude in PoR/RD especially with a Brave Lance. Then I'd say Astrid, Kieran than Makalov. Man, I never fucking use Makalov in PoR because he's such a joke.
