[[I am going to be doing this LP almost entirely as the forums wish it to be. Within the confines of the game, of course. I plan to go through to Mass Effect 3 when we get there. I don't have any add on stuff for any of them but am planning on getting the ME2 story/character ones. There are some things that need to be done first though.

1. Choose Shepard's gender and appearance
-I will make him or her look like whatever and if you have a face ID I can use that too. However I must state that default Shep looks the best.

2. Choose Shepard's class
-I will play as any class though I do have some extra abilities from previous playthroughs. Also, for those of you new to the series the classes are as follows

Soldier: Can use any weapon, can upgrade to heavy armor, has a lot of health
Engineer: Can hack stuff, can affect enemy shields/weapons, can heal team better, pistols and light armor only
Adept: Has biotic powers (psychic), can lift/throw enemies, can shield teammates, pistols and light armor only
Infiltrator: Mix of Soldier and Engineer, can use some but not all abilities of the two, can use pistols and sniper rifles, can upgrade to medium armor
Sentinel: Mix of Adept and Engineer, can use some but not all abilities of the two, pistols and light armor only
Vanguard: Mix of Soldier and Adept, can use some but not all abilities of the two, can use pistols and shotguns, can upgrade to medium armor

3. Choose Shepard's history and psyco-meter
-History and psyc profile affect how easy it is to be a paragon (good) or renegade (evil). Here's the rundown.

Spacer: Parents were military and you spent most of your life in space. You followed your parents and enlisted at 18.
Colonist: You were born and raised on a border colony and were attacked by slavers. Alliance rescued you and you enlisted soon after.
Earthborn: You were a street orphan on Earth who left doing petty crimes to join the military.

Sole Survivor: A mission went wrong and left you in an extreme situation testing you physically and mentally. Everyone but you died.
War Hero: During an attack from an overwhelming force you risked your life for your team and defeated the enemy. You have been awarded numerous medals.
Ruthless: You follow one rule, Get the job done. You are cold, calculating and brutal at times. When the military needs something done they send you.

4. Choose Shepard's name
-If it will fit in the box I will use it. 10 characters is the limit.

5. Decide whether he's a douche or not.
-This is the most important one as it will determine... well, if he's a douche or not. (I have a pretty good feeling how this one will turn out.)

You guys can have a majority vote or I'll choose the most popular choices. Also, I don't think I can keep any kind of update schedule but I'll see what I can do. And with that I leave the forums to it's own devices... Whether that be a good thing or not.]]

3. i don't even remember what the main differences between classes are but i've been using engi and that's worked good so far so i'd go with that, or just pick one at random.

... I would prefer not to but if enough people want to then I will.


Unfortunately punching sucks in this game and I would die horrific deaths numerous times. Though I could punch stuff frequently enough. Furniture included.

I think Male Shephard is better at being badass than Female Shephard, she's got better paragon voice acting though.

I've also been dinkin around with the custom face option and I still hate it. The custom options for ME1 kinda suck. Especially the hair.

Make him as ugly as possible.

And make him Spacer/Sole Survivor.
