At first I figured it was just Kirby's Epic Yarn without the yarn.

Then when Kirby killed one of the enemies, little bits of yarn appeared.

Apparently, THIS Kirby game was the one we were going to get instead of Epic Yarn (because Epic Yarn wasnt really a Kirby game at first, they just slapped him in the game a la Super Mario Bros. 2 USA).

Or so I've heard Iwata said.

...This actually makes a lot of sense. I've been playing through Epic Yarn, and it has a different feel from the Kirby game I played right before it, Kirby's Adventure, and I'm not talking about just all the yarn. Kirby himself have a bit of a "thrown-in-there" feel, at least it does to me. However, both are the only Kirby games I've played, so maybe I'm imagining it.

It's still a good game yeah, but I guess this new Kirby game is the one I should have waited to get. Too bad Nintendo didn't show it sooner, like at last year's E3.

golly mister that looks like they tried to get a kirby game and turn it into some sort of jrpg like they did with ssbb

Just make them less silly and more useful.

That was the only thing that bothered me from Crystal Shards, they could have done something great, but they didnt really nail the concept. OF COURSE, Im probably alone on this one
