Cave Story

Cave Story is an indie game developed over five years by one man, Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya. It is about an amnesiac robot on a quest to save a race of mimigas (rabbit like creatures) from a maniacal guy wearing a crown with a giant red eye on it. (That alone should be enough to convince you to play it.)

It was posted on the internet and got a huge fan following until a company called Nicalis took note of it and helped Pixel make a WiiWare and DSiWare version.

It's one of my favorite games and I highly recommend it (the PC version is free so feel free to try it.)

I'm pretty sure pretty much everybody that would care knows about it by now.

regardless it's a pretty good game, or at least I enjoyed playing it.

though it doesn't really need it's own thread. we got an indie games thread for such things.

Why can't indie games have their own thread? Because they werent published? Doesn't sound like a good reason to me.

And to the first person, I looked and there is no Cave Story thread.

You did something stupid, and now you're getting angry. You are presenting yourself poorly, and people are reacting thusly. If you want to discuss cave story, great, discuss cave story. It's a pretty cool game. From here, it looks like all you're discussing is how you deserve to be treated any less childishly than you're acting.

They arent trolling you dude. They are just saying how there is a thread for indie games, and two threads already made about cavestory. And protip, if you call respected members of a forum trolls, it makes you look like a troll. Also, if you dont like how a forum acts or works, or if they are "trolling" you, there is a little x button meant to leave the website you are on.

Sorry. I could bodaciously count the number of times I've posted on this forum on one hand. I had no idea that there were two other threads on Cave Story. I searched for Cave Story with quotes and without and could not find either one of those threads. And I knew about the indie thread, but I didn't see that as a good reason to not make a thread for a game. People started threatening to report me and I had no idea why. I got really mad because people were accusing me when I didn't know what was going on, so I reacted, I admit, immaturely. I apologize for that.

No need to be mean! I just got a little mad, but that's no reason to call someone childish! As I explained above, I didn't know why people were reacting why they did, so I reacted in frustration. Sorry about how I acted, but please don't be mean.

Anyways, could someone post links to the other two Cave Story threads? I would really appreciate it.

(Also, I removed that post. It was stupid, and I'm sorry for posting it at all.)
