You guys! New trailers on the Metroid Preview Channel Thing! The Galactic Federation has reverse-engineered Pirate technology and is using Phazon for things!

Perhaps they won't want Samus to get rid of Phazon? Conflict!

I am intrigued by how the Federation keeps being weird and two-sided now. Like in Fusion, how there was for some reason a Metroid breeding facility on the satellite. I am interested in these developments!

...Someone share my enthusiasm damnit!

QUERY:

What ever happened to side scrolling Metroid games? I believe the last one released was Metroid Fusion, unless you count Zero Mission. Either way, we need another one. Desperately. Those games had clever level design, and not such an emphasis on combat.

Or maybe I'm just a pansy who doesn't like FPS games. Regardless.
