Anyone else play this Rouge-like indie hit from everyone's favorite Team Meat member Edmund McMillen?

It is four dollars on steam and already has had two free expansions, with another massive update on the way.

This is the trailer:

And this is the Intro:

It is safe to say that I am addicited to the game. If you have the means to get it, I highly recommend it.

Rogue-like, not rouge.

Tried it, it's too hard for me. Plus you can't play with a controller since it's made with Flash (except with joy2key which has hella input lag).

To be honest, I am pretty comfortable with the keyboard.

I love the message and I love the game, but it is so daisies difficult! I just can't get further than the second basement. The game is great though and I really advice people to play it. Even though only about 16% complete it the first few levels are worth it.

I find the game easier to complete with Cain, seeing as I almost ALWAYS get screwed over by negeative pill effects.

I'm not, alas.

It's easy to make hard games. It's harder to make challenging games. I think Binding of Isaac fits in the first category.

I beg to differ. Sure the game is tough the first couple of times you play, but as you progress and get a better understanding of the items and the trade offs (i.e. wasting bombs on a tinted rock to get possible Soul Hearts or using that same bomb to open up the secret room for the prospects of cheddar) it becomes a game full of choices and options. A decent player should be able to complete the game, regardless of the items you find during your runthrough. Luck is still a major factor, however I find that to be part of the allure to Isaac. It keeps the gameplay fresh. Trust me, I have had runs where I have been overpowered as all hell and STILL had trouble getting to the end. On the other side of the coin I have had runs where I believed myself to be severly underpowered and surprised myself by clutching out until the end. I find that I am able to beat Satan about one out of every ten times I play, so I find there is some consistency in the difficulty.

Love and hate that game. It's fun but so frustrating every time you die.
And that one achievement for the christmas thingie was almost impossible to get because of the luck involved. Which made everything even more frustrating.
Maybe I'll reinstall it some time.

I heard it was denied a 3DS release. Then again, my information about everything is usually either late or incorrect, so.... :/

Anyhow, this game looks fun, if my PC wasn't utter crap (and if my parents weren't so overprotective when it comes to video games and other such things) I'd probably have it by now.

Bought this a while ago, probably during the Winter Sale.
It just really wasn't my thing at all. If I get a gamepad working, I might give it a go again.
