Got it the day it came out. I've needed to use the guide for bosses like 5 times already. I just beat Cid Raines.
I already made a thread for this, but its dead anyways

Also, I am a FF freak. I even got the Japanese demo when it came out. I have been waiting years for this game, and I was not dissappoint

I have made so little progress today. I spent all last night against Barthandelus, and didnt beat him till 2:30 this afternoon. Since then, its about 6:40 here right now, i had been fighting Cid, and just beat him as my brother got home and asked for the TV

Unless of course he left of his own free will cause I know he's been doing the music for a lot of non-Final Fantasy games

Protip: If the doom counter in eidolon battles is really bugging you, go to the menu screen before the battle, go to settings, and set the battle speed to slow. Trust me it works. I have used it three times, and it says to use it in the official guide. Doom counter will no longer be a problem

I wasn't horribly impressed when I saw it, but I do really like the battle theme.

I can't wait to blow shit up.
