So, it turns out that there's a Steam offer from 2007 that gave nVidia and ATi gamers Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast for free. It also turns out that the offer still works, despite being two years old.

HL2:Lost Coast isn't really a game any more than, say, World Of Goo Demo is. Well, it technically is, but not nearly significant enough to even deserve a post in the Topics Not Worth Threading About thread.

But HL2:Deathmatch is definitely a game. Albeit a pretty lame one.

Not really. Because after those ten minutes, it just turns into "whoever gets to the rocket launcher first". Or "whoever gets the crossbow and the best camping spot first". Depending on the map.
Either way, it's ridiculously imbalanced!
