I hate this thing just because all my favorite characters are either already out (and didn't even get like 10% of the votes) or are about to lose pretty badly (seriously Jade is awesome why would you put her up against Samus thats just murder.)

Though I really tend to have this problem with all the popularity contests like this. (call it what you will, thats all they ever are.)

Seriously, isnt he the guy from Shenmue? Never played that. Besides, Sonic's the company mascot. Him not going to round two would make a lot less sense, regardless of how you feel on it.
