If you aren't aware, Capcom recently filed a trademark on the name "Okamiden". Speculation is already rampant on a possible sequel to Okami.

A recent development is Famitsu listing the trademark under the content section for their new magazine, available on Tuesday.

I've never played Okami, would very much like to but of course it's pretty hard to find, but for games like this I'm not really sure if a sequel should happen. Especially if the sequel can't follow up to the greatness. But that's just my opinion.

They did but this could still be possible I suppose. I hear they're still making Viewtiful Joe 3, although that project probably died.

As long as the original developers were involved, I would love this. As long as it came out for something other than Wii, as I can't stand the whole "continuously shake controller back and forth to attack" thing.

This game doesn't need a seqeal in my opinion. Everything was wrapped up fine as for the main plot, and a sequel might just ruin the original game.
