It might not be a hacker doing this, it might just be a huge fuck-up on Valve's part.

Apparently it's been fixed? All we have is info from non affiliated third parties though.

The "feds" have nothing to do with this. Valve released a statment that it was all clear but it just took awhile because ity was christmas and there was a skekleton crew to handle this. They also didnt want to say anything until they knew WHAT was wrong as to not spread misinformation. It was just horrible timing.
