I'm still muscling my way through LeafGreen for the third time to get my last Legendary Gerbil. It's reminding me just how awful Bulbasaur/Ivysaur is for anything but catching. Actually Grass types in general. They crossed them all with Poison but they still suck the big one.

I don't do any fancy EV training or whatever, and don't intend to until I've caught (almost) all of them, popped them into pearl and rebred the ones I want with the right personalities.

I just want it on record, Feebas are fucking bastards.

I've always prefered grass types over water types and other such types I hate because they use mindrape techniques. Bulbasaur is <3, fosrs. Sleep powder, Grasswhistle, Poisonpowder, Stun Spore, Leech Seed, Ingrain... Grass types are bitches to fight.

Also, I don't really intend to ever do EV training. Partly cuz I don't get it and partly cuz it's too much work. |:

Cuz I know the second was a whole lot harder than the first

Ever ran into a fucking monster house?
When i ran into one of those, it was like the fucking END for me. I've only beat one ONCE, and only cuz every single pokemon was like 15 levels lower than me. And I did with a fucking escort, too.

The monster houses ruined it for me. Totally and completely.

When i ran into one of those, it was like the fucking END for me. I've only beat one ONCE, and only cuz every single pokemon was like 15 levels lower than me. And I did with a fucking escort, too.

Those got me too, but eventually I just got too good for them. One strategy to use is to simply move into one empty space to let your partner in the room to fight.

Also, Pika's thunder bolt (whole room effect) helped too.

what gets me is stealing from the keckleon merchant. I'm used to merchants NOT trying to kill you when you haggle. Then again, I'm also used to shoving lead pipes into their kidneys and firing a mini-nuke up their asses.

Ah, but you see, I was a Bulbasaur and my partner was a Cyndaquil. No such help for me. it helped a whole shitload when Girafarig used Agility, though how it upped all of our speed I will never. Know.

But something I hated even more was when one of the enemy pokemon used Agility. FUCK.
