So I went into gameswap to trade in some old games of mine to help build funds for a PS3. (a LOT of not-so-old games and my gamecube) I found out that I could only get store credits and they don't sell PS3's. The guy at the counter said not to bother with it because he heard that Sony was making a PS4. The PS4 is supposed to have better graphics, backwards capatability with the PS3 games and no longer features blu-ray so it will be more affordable. I went home and researched it and this is what I found, I'm just gonna post the google search results.:

The PS3 only came out like a year and a half ago. I didn't expect the news for the next one to be out already.

This thread is one O RLY joke away from me kicking someone in the face.

Making a PS4 so soon would be like Sony admitting defeat. What about all their potential they've been talking about? Maybe they just want to get a leg up on the next generation of competition, kind of like the XBox 360 did.

If they make a PS4 so soon, that kinda ruins their "10 Year Plan" for the PS3.

If anything, they should be working on a slim version of the PS3 so it isn't an eyesore anymore.
