P-P-Pokemon Platinum - you gonna get it?

So Pokemon Platinum has a Japan release date of 13th September 2008.

DS title Cockfighting Society Platinum details are divulged in the August issue of CoroCoro comics. Besides announcing official Japanese release date is September 13th, there's a bunch of new details like a new "Wi-Fi Club" area that's able to hold up to 20 folks at once, a new Team Galatic member, new international police member, a "Battle Recorder" that allows trainers to record and share battles, and Dialga and Palkia appearing simultaneously in story.

GASPS! Shaymin has a confirmed evolved/alt. form! - MUST GET!(?)

Most people will probably know of Giratina's alt. form by now.

I have no idea WTF is going on here!

I'm gonna buy Platinum anyways - I just can't help myself when it comes to Pokemon!

I'm getting this just for the opportunity to finally nab both of those stupid legendaries in one game.

That's what I hate about the Pokemans games. It's basically half a game. The other half has the rest of the content.

I wish I wasn't going to buy it, but I always bend to Nintendo's will when a new Pokemon game comes out.

Yep, its brilliant marketing caused me to buy both Diamond and Pearl on launch. It took me hours to justify that to my mom...

I usually just buy the third in the generation instead of the first two, (i.e., Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald.) but I broke the chain with Pearl. Palkia lured me in, DANG IT.

True... I was thinking it was GSC remake though.

In all honesty, Crystal sounds more fitting with Diamond & Pearl.
Platinum sounds better with Gold and Silver.

That was out-of-topic. Anyway, yeah, probably will get Platinum. Won't really mind if I don't though.
