Bright, colorful, Warcraft-like graphics, little blood, almost instantly disappearing corpses, no Necromancer - I smell massive nerd rage.

It's bright and colourful, but that just adds to the atmosphere. It's hardly warcraft-like in graphics. Little blood? Are you kidding me? Corpses dissapearing....I never really noticed, no cared. I just want to smash things up. As for Necromancer, Barb and Witch Doctor aren't the only classes in the game. They've said 5 in total, two of which are the aforementioned ones. There's still plenty of time and LOTS of information to be revealed, so be patient.


As for me, no I've never played the first two. To be honest, I never really cared for them. Tried 2 once, got bored pretty quick. However, D3 has motivated me to actually play them to, as I've mentioned before, know what the hell's going on. Plus D3 looks so awesome.

Do what I do and spell it with two D's, so you can still say it without it being changed to Madness.

Nice job at rendering your opinion invalid with the second paragraph, you've obviously never seriously played or enjoyed a Diablo game. Compared to the dark, gritty, grainy visuals of the previous games this one looks awfully Warcraft-like - saturated colors, soft textures and cartoony exaggeration on the characters - that's not fucking Diablo. One of the greatest joys in the previous Diablo games was watching the torn-apart bodies pile up on the battlefield - and yes, there is less blood than in the previous games, on top of that it disappears in a matter of seconds, just like the bodies.

I realize the game is WIP and they may improve the textures, but still, if they stick with this new style they'll leave a lot of veterans dissatisfied.

True, I may not be an expert in Diablo, but I am in Warcraft, and it certainly isn't warcraft-like. More cartoonish than it's original self, maybe, but no where near Warcraft cartoon.

But it's more Warcraft-like than the original Diablo! So yeah, my point stands.

Who gives a fuck, it looks awesome non-the-less.

The closest environment to that place is either Undercity or Scholomance, true, but why shouldn't they be "similar" in appearance. Graphic-wise, not at all the same. :\


Infact, it actually looks BETTER than WoW. If WoW were to get changed to those graphics, it would definately be a major improvement.

Sorry, I'm too busy furiously masturbating to Diablo 3 to consider anything wrong with it.

that screen really does look like wow, at first glance i thought ti was a wow shot and there was a d3 shot under it for comparison >_>

However, im assuming the faster dissapearing corpses means that the corpses are going to be less valuble, a.k.a. no find potion or necromancer
