Runescape is evolving into it's third iteration, adding orchestrations from BAFTA winner, James Hannigan and played by the Slovak Symphony Orchestra. Also they are adopting HTML5 for improved graphics quality.

Made a new account and it's changed a bunch. Liking the new tutorial.

RS3's HTML5 is actually backwards-compatible in that you can run it using java, just without the draw distance or shadows

The second iteration of it, I guess.

Pre 2007, it would seem

Anyways, I never really got this game, I thought it was some other shitty browser game that's just made for revenue than actually being a game.

I'll have to see what this game has in store...

Are you drunk this evening, brothel?

This is a thread about runes that you apparently escape from, not pinkles the magical dancing skeleton.

And to continue being on topic, I litterally just found out I have a bloody Runescape account, this game is barely impressing me.

That's because the game is a major grind, the only fun things are the quests and some of the group minigames.
Everything good requires a subscription, unless they got rid of that. (not likely.)

No. Free-to-play's barely been touched in a long while except where the game changed universally. Jagex has managed to realize that it's almost entirely a huge grindfest and implement a few changes that speed up exp gain, but it's still a huge grindfest and most of those faster methods are only available for subscribers.

I am kind of stoked to hear about them finally committing to overhauling their music though. They've only needed it forever and the two or three efforts they'd made at doing so thus far were actually pretty decent.
