This is what the Wii was made for. It is totally in my top three favorite Nintendo games.

Did you hear about that glitch during one of the Bowser battles?

It freezes the screen and you have to reset.

I only have 29 stars right now... The Bowser battles I've done so far have been just fine.

My friend rented it, and that's the only thing I have to judge it with, since I still don't have a Wii.

But from what I saw, the camera leaves a lot to be desired. But then again, it's not every day that you have a game where individual objects have their own gravity.

I thought it was funny that every level only had three or four stars. It seemed kind of the ADD way out to make many many levels with only a few stars in each. I though the exploration in previous 3D Mario games was really great. In this one, you can only go in the direction of the star, in most cases. I guess it would be difficult to have multiple paths when every level is just a collection of planets that you have to jump between. I dunno, the levels just seem one-track. But there are still great levels that allow for exploration like the Beehive level.

I thought the multiplayer was a good idea for this game. This game is one of those ones that's fun to just watch, but even more so to play. Taking the back seat and helping to grab collectables and stun enemies is a great fusion of those. Being able to stun enemies is probably the greatest part, because it sort of puts you in the action.

I thought it was a little odd that the game only gave you three points of life (six in certain circumstances), but I found it even odder that it gave so daisies many extra lives. This was probably the worst part, because the combination of these two elements doesn't make the game challenging, it just makes it too forgiving. What happens is, you die, you respawn, you collect another 1-up, you die. You end up replaying the same parts over and over again. I suppose this was put in because designers were expecting players to fall to their instant deaths on multiple occasions, what with it being a game that takes place in outer space, but as it turns out, falling into the suspicious ugly black hole is a rather rare occurence. It must be a little frustrating, having to die so easily, then running back to the same spot and dying again.

But yeah. I only watched him play about seven or eight galaxies, so if there's anything you find wrong with my obsessive compulsive nitpicking, feel free to point it out.

I heard that it's worth getting a Wii for.
And I believe anyone who says that.

Water is correct for the most part, but it is still the best game on the Wii right now.

There is actually 6 stars per lvl. Some even have 7. They become open a little bit after you clear the first observetory. I am at 94 stars too by the way :) Fun game.

Also, my friend took an unusual amount of time to point out that the girl in the blue dress is, in fact NOT Princess Peach.

I wouldn't mind a Mario game with a good plot. That's why everyone liked the Paper Mario games so much. But I guess that's a bit much to ask. It almost seems like they're making the storyline simple on purpose.

Why would it need a complex plot? We have the Paper Mario series for that already.

We could, of course, involve a number of additional villains and a guilt complex in Mario, as well as Peach going through some changes in personality as a result of torture, making her paranoid and untrusting of Mario, whom she attacks, forcing our hero to kill her out of self-defense and proceed to take his own life out of even more guilt, so that Luigi becomes the new dictator of Mushroom Kingdom and everyone lives in poverty for the next twenty years, after which God shakes his head out of pity and just blows the whole Mushroom Kingdom up altogether....

But the game doesn't need that.

It may be your faveourite game, But a friend of mine found a site that is Screaming about it, turning kids in to Gays. Word of warning, after like page 3 it gets entirly religious, so you can just shut the box down, they forgot about Mario and his games.

Someone can remove the link if they want.

Sorry to anyone who reads this. I'd hate to hear them talk about Halo or Final fantasy.
