Did anyone else spot pass Reggie? I think my street passes for ACNL are full, but I really want to know if his house changed!

pop flyin' Home Designer came out in the US! Post your designs, thoughts on the game, and MORE

I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Trying to fit the theme is a great challenge, but I feel the sheer level of customization is fantastic to accommodate any style. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Make sure to get about 30 play coins stacked up before you play so you can unlock all the handbook lessons. You get some neat tools to customize stuff.

Also this game is eating my soul after I spent an hour and a half designing a Hospital.

I built a school yesterday. I enjoy picking people up and flinging them across the room.

A fighting school? What? I just imagined your pop flyin' Home Designer character bodaciously throwing an animal across the room.

I can't get HHD yet. ;-; Maybe by my next pay check.. otherwise ask for it for my birthday. I really want it though, especially those amiibo cards. It looks like such an amazing game! I think it shows how Nintendo noticed how much people loved customizing homes and villages in New Leaf.

It is fun. It's a regular school, you can pick up the people and move em across the room.

So is this game just the home designing and nothing else? Is it worth the buy?

Pretty much. The game is much easier to place and collect furniture in than the normal animal crossing games, and villagers will unlock any furniture in their theme that they would want in their house. The only things you have to put in their homes though are the 3 items they move in with. There's also 10 different buildings in town to furnish like a school and a hospital.

If designing homes inside and out isn't your thing, this probably won't be a game you'll like, there isn't as much interaction with the animals (though there's plenty of charming dialogue), and the game just progresses as you want it to. There isn't a clock holding you back or making you rush to get everything done in time.

It's a cute game overall and I'm having a lot of fun with it, but I can see people finding it a bit shallow after they've designed their 50th house.

There's also a contest starting tomorrow for Nintendo. I don't know exactly what that entails though.

Ehh, might wait until it's on sale or something then. I like the home designing and all, but not so much that I'd drop $40 on it just for that.

These would be some really rad ideas to implement into a WiiU Animal Crossing.

Great, now the bar of my expectations for the next Animal Crossing has been raised even higher. I will be forever disappointed.
