They did some grinding with Mankey and Rattata.

As well, that was some good editing on Woolie's part for the evolution screen.

So when they first started the mailbag, they made some (common sense) rules like don't send explosives, or anything illegal, or live animals. Somehow the live animals thing evolved into "dangerous animals," with vipers being the go-to example.

So they kept saying "don't send us vipers" as shorthand for "don't be stupid" but the more they said it the more it became a joke about someone actually sending vipers, and lo and behold the fandom ran with the joke.

Oh. I've watched all mailbags but thought it was a thing from one of their LPs.

Edit: HOLY SHIT that sword.

Now I understand why they felt the need to say, "Yo, we're grateful, but make sure you can still pay rent" in one of the podcasts.

Two copies of Guren Lagann blu-rays is intense. But surely the sword and axe cost at least that much? Or relatively close to it? I don't know the quality of either one, but the axe seemed so metal (barely a pun) with all the detail and weight. And I've seen swords similar to that one go for $600-$800 easy.

So altogether, pushing $2000 worth of fan gifts (not counting all their other stuff). It's kind of amazing seeing what the fans are willing to give back to these guys.

Chip's Uncharted 3 LP is alright but it suffers from the same problem Uncharted 3 does in that it isn't anything special. Like, it's fine but it feels more like a formality then anything incredibly rousing.

I think it suffers from the fact that Ironicus just is t that funny. Usually when I watch an LP the person/people who haven't played the game can provide interesting and/or funny commentary at certain points, but Ironicus can't really deliver in that regard anymore. Maybe it's because I've been spoiled by watching so many other LPs by other people?

New mailbag. That is the first time I've seen Finnish mistaken for an Eastern European language.
I want to see how they handle Tyrkisk Peber.

I loved how Achievement Hunter played the game; Gavin controlled the movement of the hands while Michael controlled the fingers. Pretty creative, I have to say.
