Good grief, and I thought
I was bad with putting torches everywhere.
Anyways, my brother made another multiplayer server for the two of us since the other one was hosted at another house (although the computer here is a lot crappier and our base doesn't really have the same feel to it). At first my brother found a really nice location for our base while I was away - there was a natural waterfall and a huge stream of pouring lava nearby, along with some really nice looking floating mountains. Unfortunately we lost that base though, as we came across a huge crowd of zombies in the middle of nowhere (I can only assume there was a spawner nearby), which promptly killed us (we were lagging horrifically and they were hitting us
way out of their attack range). For some reason the server then decided to respawn us in a completely different location to before, which was irritating. We quickly made a new base (and I proceeded to make a huge portion of it out of glass because goddamn I love that stuff), but the place seemed to have a
serious Creeper infestation. They were everywhere and the lag made it so that they kept exploding regardless of how far away we were from them, which resulted in a huge crater outside our base that just got bigger as the days went by. It also turned out we were right next to a cave opening, and we had the noisiest neighbours ever, so we promptly went in there and evicted the buggers. There was also some weird glitch going on that only showed up on my screen, where a cube of gravel was just there in the middle of the floor rapidly going up and down, but wasn't physically there. We named it the Raving Gravel Cube.
