My brother was peeking over my shoulder as I was reading this thread, and upon reading that CN found a music disc almost straight away, proceeded to exclaim, "lucky bastard". :B

In other news, he's currently exploring a huge cave system while listening to the TRON: Legacy soundtrack and it is hilariously fitting, particularly since he's in a cave with a ridiculous amount of steep drops and lava waterfalls. The timing on some of the tracks has been perfect.

Playing on my mom's laptop and i can't get a good world to spawn.. It's sand islands or barren swamps.

^ I had to reload for like 30 minutes before I found something that wasn't either rainforest or snow :T You never get what you want.

I ended up getting a swamp/savannah/desert world finally and i have my very own lava pit just chillin' at the surface near my house.

Oh, if you find one of those fires it's a dungeon? I found one of those but didn't know what it meant.

I'll have to try and find it again.

As it is my current base is the equivalent of about two miles from my spawn point, so now I have a compass I'm gonna head back there and make some kind of shelter.

Currently I've got loads of Redstone Dust but only four Gold Ingots; I'm not sure which material is rarer.

Notch has said that he was just going to let creator mode die

He isnt going to destroy it, just stop updating it and let it die a slow, painful death

Well, I've been creating a load of stuff with the limited materials I have in Classic Mode; I need to find some more clay before I can start using bricks.

Did you guys know you can make 'Stone' if you smelt 'Cobblestone'?

It's at least another building material option.

Is anyone else getting RIDICULOUS amounts of chunk errors on multi? I can barely go from spawn to our base without falling in some nonexistant fucking hole in the ground or the entire world disappearing.

On the other hand it helped us find a dungeon because I saw it in an error haha. There was no loot in it though D: I also have a spectacular collection of error pictures and a pretty good idea of where all the cave systems go and are located in our area.

Using lava buckets to fuel a furnace.
The bucket may be lost, but for 15 minutes if use, its worth it.

I said in my last post with pics that I think my dungeon mountain is a chunk of cave system above ground? Well, I convinced myself, since there are about twenty entrances to caves spread over the mountain, many connecting, and coal everywhere.

I have about 300 more torches in my inventory right now that I just made, and 64 coal I am saving.

Those torches I set around are so mobs don't spawn ever around me. :'D

I also have a large amount of wood, due to my deforestation to clear the space all those torches are in. Going to do more deforesting now.

Yeah. The chests in the two dungeons also had iron ingots, so I had good tools from the start, too. It was awesome.

Moar pics.

On my way back to my base to grab some axes and dump tons of stuff I dug out of a cave into the chests.

I built 2 out of the 6 chests. The other four came from the dungeons.
