Okay, having beaten the game... what, six months ago? I don't know... I finally have the courage to ask this:
The dude you have to beat to get the Ball-and-Chain... What's the secret to beating him? I tried over and over and finally got lucky.
Did anybody else notice the looking-at-the-floor-because-it's-reflective during a boss fight is becoming another Zelda tradition now? As well as a few other games I've played...
We're talking about an ICE-oriented temple here. Really, you can't expect a flowery field for a floor.
I wasn't, but I meant how even in Wind Waker the room was conveniantly flooded for such a purpose. I mean even if you expect the floor to be reflective, it's becoming a tradition to have some kind of boss you have to fight by doing a trick like this.

... I completely forget which Wind Waker boss that was, but it sounds familiar.

Figured out what I need to do to beat OoT.

LOOK AT A DIFFERENT GUIDE
HURRHURRHURR

so.. uhhh... if I can't get Epona because I'm adult Link nao, I'll go back and play the game all over again.

that's how dedicated I am.

plus it'd be a hell of a lot faster.

I totally suck at gaming, plus I can never figure out what to do for a boss. 8D

LOOK MY IQ MIGHT BE BELOW AVERAGE OK!?

Plus this is only my 2nd Legend of Zelda game and I've never finished any of 'em before, though I'm pretty daisies close in TP. But that one's easier than the others. So...

People are gonna kill me for my non-existant gaming sk1llz.

and I'm starting to wonder whether Navi slept like Link did... or she just went on vacation to the Bahamas or something and nagged someone else.

It bothered me so much I drew a Navi with sunglass on, sitting on a folding chair, with the sun shining bright overhead... On the corner of my Communication Arts paper.

Just wait 'til Mr. Geoghan sees it. :awesome:

Yeah. I played the first half of Wind Waker without a guide, and I played the second half of Majora's Mask without one. And I played all of TP without one.

But other than that, I used to rely on guides for all 3D Zelda games.

(And Oracle of Seasons, but that was because I couldn't get out of that goddamned Lost Woods)

I only use guides for dungeons when I have no idea what to do now. And my mom can't tell me that I'm not learning to use my brain on these games.

So ha. Ha. Haha.

I wasn't saying not to use guides, I was saying you have a forum of people who all know how to beat the game. But instead of asking you just use a guide. It's stupid, in my opinion. Thus no more help because you wouldn't need it anyways.
