To pretty much help everyone where I am coming from with the "class changing" it's best to play Seiken Densetsu 3. (secret of mana 2)


I have ANOTHER game idea, but family says not to discuss it with people due to the fact that it's too good an idea that easily can be stolen and I'd be out about a million. Image
All I can say is "strategy game based around cavemen"

those pages were fan suggestions that had no bearing on the story going on and were made by Hussnasty himself.


To keep my post relevant and on track, I have a question about how the world should be...

Instead of one jumbo world with tons of clashing biomes next to each other, how about a bunch of smaller planetoids that orbit around each other and each one holds several similar biomes and stuff, and are all connected by these magical gravitation highways that allows people to travel from one small planet to another?

Thought about a small, molten, star-like volcano planet being in the center of it. And as for the elevators to the central planet I already asked about it.:

I know what you're getting at >->, but I thought that the magical gravity roads would be like an intricate series of paths resembling a madman's 3D chart of newspaper clippings conspiracy theories that are all connected by threads attached to tacks on several bulletin boards.

What if there were starships that you could use to travel between planetoids instead?
Starting out you don't have one, and have to do the quests on the first planetoid.
Then you get one with a small range, with the possibility of travelling between a few planets close to the first one. Then eventually you get a better one with a bigger range, etc.
Some quests could give rewards in the form of a map which would reveal new areas on a planetoid.

You could do like a Bifrost type thing where there are all these interconnecting cosmic highways, which, I think is what you're already trying to do.

I dunno what this "bifrost" thing is but I must look into it.

Since it's supposed to be fantasy-ish and there's some groups of more scientific people I GUESS I could have some form of space ships for nearby planet travel and importing/exporting/smuggling goods, maybe just have them as airships that are outfitted for space travel?

For you guys to get a better picture in your mind for what a cluster of small planets & moons circling around each other would look like, imagine planet fucking jupiter, now imagine that the outermost part of the planet is a large glass bubble, now remove the gas ball and just throw in some hospitable and habitable small planets & moons inside, have a smallish molten planet (like a small star that isn't so hot & bright, or like just earth's molten core or something) at the very center of this glass bubble, and have the small moons & planets circling around the molten ball in intersecting formations without them crashing into each other, have this mass of planets circle around a star like the sweet deal that earth has, now remove the glass bubble.

Done! That's what I had in mind. Would you guys play a fantasy game with multiple explorable planets like that?
Sorry if I ever seem like I argue with you guys or try and shoot down ideas.

That would be cool, man.
If you threw in spaceships/modified airships, you could limit the range of travel and number of planets that one has access to.
If the core was magical, you could say that there are magical solar winds that restrict travel, which go away when a certain number of quests are completed.

Yeah, that sounds like it'd be really cool.

And by Bifrost I'm referring to the gate/road/rainbow between Yggdrasil the World Tree and Earth in Norse mythology.

Edit: Oh god I just had an idea. What if Rainbow Road from Mario Kart was Bifrost?

YESSSS! GRAND IDEA!

Also planned on having a cool spot on the core so you could explore a small part of it, and maybe have an explorable molten cavern for a dungeon/raid?
