Someone else on another site made an astute comment: "Gotta move that gravy train away from Angry Birds." FNaF has become a psychotically huge hit in such a short amount of time and has actually stayed there, just like Angry Birds. Back when FNaF first became a phenomenon I thought it would fade away just like Amnesia: The Dark Descent did, but the rapid production of sequels and the modern popularity of big LPers (Pewdiepie and a handful of other now mega-huge names started out near when Amnesia was released, I think and helped put them on the map) has helped it stay at the forefront.

This is the longest gap between games in the entire daisies series. It's still too soon, but when you release a sequel after like 3 months you have no concept of reason.
