I've heard that hard mode is more like normal mode, with normal being easy and easy being very easy. So if you aren't to far in, you may want to start again with Hard. Personally, I'll probably start with hard mode, and drop down if it is too much.

Just defeated Monsoon. That was an excellent fight.

EDIT: Somehow I instinctually knew that "Ripper Mode" would be activated by clicking down both the left stick and the right stick at the same time.

Okay I'm actually really rustled off that I have to buy the pre-order DLC with the in game points.

Platinum wants you to EARN IT with your blood, sweat, and tears. They actually have tear-collecting nanomachines in the game case that fly into your tear ducts when you open it and take them to Platinum HQ where they can drink them.

WHY IS FOXBLADE SO EXPENSIVE IT'S SO FUCKING BROKEN BUT I HAVE TO EARN IT BY PLAYING THE GAME A LOT AND PROVING THAT I DON'T NEED A BEAST booty FUCKING AWESOME BOSS booty SWORD OF THE GODS TO WIN GODDAMMIT

You didn't need Super Dante or Super Sparta when you got them: the reward for success is the tools that could have helped but you have proven you can do without.

Same with the bonus items you usually get for succeeding and doing well in the various Resident Evil games.

And you should be glad you've got the content. My download code didn't work. FUCKING GAMESTOP.

I'm a couple main chapters into the game and saving for the Foxblade still, meanwhile gimping myself by not buying upgrades for my current sword or health.

Going pretty well honestly.

PARRY SLASH PARRY SLASH oops your arms are gone

This final boss fight just took a serious "Anime as FUCK" turn. I know I was supposed to fight this guy as the final boss, but I think Platinum was watching way too much anime the day they went to the drawing board with this. I'm not complaining though; I'm laughing my booty off.

In the ware house with the security lasers and the cameras.
It might be like, the second or third room. Right before you hit the button to open the gate to continue there's an area right behind you where you can jump down onto a few metal crates, using that AR vision you can see there's a box right behind you. Well if you jump down there and follow the little corridor past the loot box there's a little room with some crap and a box in it. If you cut the box a cyborg with jump out surprised.

Beat the game last night and had a ball doing it (though the final boss kicked my asshole in for a good long time)

My only regret is that I didn't get to play through the game as Grey Fox because my gamestop pre order code isn't working but oh well fuck it

I just love the way the final boss just up and fucking says "NANOMACHINES, SON."

Just spent the last 2-3 hours playing on Hard mode my first play though and dying a bunch like a chump.
I fucked a lot with raptors at first, but they are easier once you realize you can gimp them by cutting off their legs. Mastifs are motherfuckers, though.
Mistral was a fun fight that I'm not to sure what the strategy was but I still won, and the Pole-Arm is real rad.

The part when you're on the pole was the worst.
Those little gekko things made it so I could back up.

Also foxblade is pretty opx10 the raptors took 2 hits each.

I think my favorite thing in the game so far was Mistral being frozen with liquid nitrogen, SHATTERED, and then holding a 2-3 minute cover station with Raiden and the guy from the Snake's Revenge Manual.

I think that one takes the cake from Wolf's "I'm lung shot" speech by a long shot, and also everything that happened to Raiden up until now in the series.
