Over Winter Break, my siblings got an Xbox 360. I got them several games for it, one of them being Portal 2. I ended up being the one playing it. With Sailor Moon. Who won't go near anything but The Sims and LEGO games. Everything else she considers nerdy.

But I played it all the way through with her and she was actually engaged. I was so pop flyin', but feared it would be a fleeting happiness, a brief moment where we got to bond together over gaming.

A few weeks later, she picked up L.A. Noire.

Thank you, Portal. You helped me convert my significant other.
