Black Knight Greatsword + Pyro Flame.

Moonlight Butterfly was me running around the bridge while the witch ghost shot soul arrows at it. When it landed I dismissed her and annihilated the bug with lots of fire.

There's an offline phantom at the moonlight butterfly? Huh, I always soloed it.
But still, you should seriously have a crossbow or bow with you. You will need it.

My DEX is shit so I don't tend to use bows/crossbows.

Thinking of restarting though, this time as either a Sorc or Pyro geared towards INT and magic weapons now that I actually understand how magic and stats work in this game.

Pyromany only scales with the pyro flame's level though, so don't go pyro pouring stuff into Int - fair warning, I wasted 4 hours orso with that one at the start

Pyro solely for his high poison resist clothes, I'm doing all Sorcery but I needed to farm the leeches in Blighttown early on for green shards and normal clothes wouldn't cut it.

But now I'm rocking a +5 Magical Longsword with Crimson gear so it was worth it. Picked up Soul Arrow/Heavy Soul Arrow and having fun blasting things. Going to level INT up to 45, since don't need anything past that.

Farming the leeches in blighttown is terrible, farm the slimes near the Depths AKA Sewers bonfire.

They gave me 25 green titanite in five minutes so wasn't bad. Farmed some souls and got into the Forest Hunter area for more, so now I have Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, Great Heavy Soul Arrow, and Great Soul Arrow. Need to put more points in attunement for more slots.

Seathe dead after who knows how many failed attempts to get Moonlight Greatsword. Going after Nito next and I am hating these necromancers in the Catacombs.

Rocking a +5 Enchanted Longsword, Logan's Catalyst, +5 Black Knight Shield, Crimson Sealer set, Dusk Crown, Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, Ring of Favor and Fortune, and Crystal Soul Spear/Crystal Homing Soulmass with 45 INT.

Sunbroing a guy through the Bell Gargoyles, then hearing the Bell ring on my way back to the bonfire: probably the most satisfying thing I've done in the game.
