Yeah, that's the only problem. It's become so rare. A lot of it might be heavily cliched, but that's part of what makes it great.

If you give a guest pass to others, they can play the full game for a few days or so without having to buy it. It's like a free weekend.
And since there's no discs involved in TF2, you don't need to give them to anybody, either.

A guest pass is basically a "play the full game for free for 3 days" thing Steam dos. So, if you got a TF2 guest pass, you can play TF2 for free for 3 days, no strings attached.
