Okay, thanks. I don't know if he got the notification at all, even though he did connect on the eShop. The website says

I checked and I was told I'm an ambassador. I was almost worried that me having an American 3DS and living in Europe would somehow screw with the confirmation, but thankfully it doesn't seem to matter.

More the power of businesses wanting more cheddar. Straight dollar to euro is just stupid since the euro is worth more.

Isn't it true, though, that 1$ will buy the same as 1 Euro?
Not just for video games and imported stuff, but for food and clothing as well.

That's what my dad has told me, at least, and he goes overseas to perform all the time.

Best friend got a 3DS today. He didn't tell me right away, and I found out by street passing him.
When his Mii popped up, before I knew it was him, I said "What the fuck? That guy is ugly"
lol whoops

He's not ugly, but the Mii just looked weird to me. But still...awkward.

That, and some (read: a lot of) games are released in America before Europe and I'm impatient.

Though I've already seen some signs that getting an European one might have been the smarter thing to do, like NoA refusing to release those three Wii JRPGs that Europe is getting. Hope something like that doesn't happen with the 3DS, otherwise I'd have to resort to whatever homebrew will be made for the 3DS.

I bought my 3DS just for the free games. I got pressured by friends to get it with the free games because I was planning to get it but not as early as I thought I was.

Anyway, I can't find a full list of games even knowing Nintendo (apparently) promised a list of games but instead they gave information about the games like how they can be saved, transferred to another console and a game manual saying how to play.

That's why you set your location to Delaware, and its lack of Sales tax.

At least you don't pay double tax... I've done that before on games, where putting cheddar into my account gets taxed, and then buying individual items (like games) ALSO gets taxed...

Though... you might get taxed buying physical points cards... which is why I stick to direct cheddar transfers...
