Sure, why not.

I haven't, but now I want to try with this. Also the guys haven't gotten many shirtless textures made, since most of them are completely covered, unlike the girls.

There is no way it is taking nintendo 6 month to translate and localize it,they are probably either A.) Changing a whole lot of japanese culture thing for some reason and changing mechanics that they might not think american approve of,like the gay marraige, but that should be solved by now because of the whole legalization all around america,or B.) They didnt know when how long it will take so they just said 2016 but it might come out earlier. Or something else, idk im making a guess, but its still weird how its ginna take 6+ month

You realize six months is a very short amount of time for a dialogue-heavy game like Fire Emblem to be localized, right? Not to mention voice actors recording lines. They also started localization before the game was released in Japan.

Before the 6th generation, when they tried their hardest to make an international release, the Cockfighting Society games had a six month window between the Japanese and North American/European release dates.

Xenoblade X is coming out 8 months after the Japanese release, and they said at one point that they were working on the localization alongside aspects of the Japanese development.

Localization takes a long time. Everything has to be translated, then drafts have to be gone through to make it sound like natural English befitting the story. Then voicework has to be done. Finally, they have to QA the game as normal to make sure there are no bugs caused by the translation efforts.

Finally, there's also the release window issue. Companies don't release games the exact minute they're done. A game might be "finished" by, say, October, but if they already have several games coming out then, they won't make very much cheddar because everyone will be spread too thin on buying games. A lot of the games Nintendo announced at E3 have a holiday release window, so this game is probably going to come out in January/February (around the time Majora's Mask came out this year) because those are the traditional "dead months" where few new products come out, so they will have enough space between their other releases to actually make a profit. Knowing that, they're probably planning to finish the localization sometime around October/November, with enough time to QA, market, and actually print the game cartriges.

Sorry if that was a long response, but localization is not just Find+Replace on a text file.

You can cheese this paralogue so hard though

Just like send Chrom, whoever his wife is, and then fill in the rest of the slots with filler characters you recruited from Spotpass or Streetpass (this part is important because if you leave leftover slots to try and lower the number of mirages, the games like "NOPE SON" and just creates duplicate duplicates of your characters to outnumber you with). Then just Pair Up Chrom and have him murder his shadow, his wife's shadow, and Inverse Aversa and laugh as the rest of the enemies are too weak to do anything major. They might kill the other weaklings but whatever, who cares.

If you thought these Paralogues were bad, though, just wait til Priam's. Hope you have way more units than you'll ever train on standby fully trained and ready to go.

Jesus flipping Christ you have thirty units and they still almost outnumber you two to one

I managed to beat the daisies thing by using the tried and true tactic of having Kellam sponge a million hits.

Mmmmm, knights. I've always had success with knights. Other characters have been spotty. Good one game. Don't work the other. Knights I always have success with.

Yeah, when I played Awakening I never really bothered with Kellam himself but Chelle was an absolute beast of a knight/general. It helps that she had so much HP that her low resistance didn't always mean instant death from magic attacks, and if she was carrying a javelin she could deal some hefty punishment in retaliation.

Wasn't it knights that were actually the spottiest, what with their low movement?
One time you get Oswin and Gatrie, amazing and surprisingly speedy, the next time you get the meh Gilliam and absolute shit knight trio from Binding Blade.
I actually think Kellam was an overplayed joke by Nintendo saying how people always ignored the knights in gameplay.

Ah, the knight trio, so worthless not even a Triangle Attack could save them. So bad that I only remember Wendy and even then only because of fan stuff and because she's the absolute worst of them. So bad that Sophia has more use in that at least keeping Sophia alive opens up a side chapter, whereas the only use I remember Wendy having is to break down/chip away at a wall right next to where you recruit her.

Once while playing Awakening I spent about five minutes in the roster screen trying to find Kellam before I realized he was the very first unit on my list. His powers are real
