I hate to be that guy, but am I the only one hoping that the next 3D Mario game takes notes from Mario Kart 8 in terms of graphics? MK8 absolutely blows Mario 3D World out of the way, and I'd love to see a Neo Bowser City-esque level in a platformer. Seriously, holy shit that track looks gorgeous.

Well, they only have to make X number of tracks and X number of assets used in each track and they're reused for every race. 3D World had hundreds of unique levels and thousands of models for every animation, every enemy, every item, every type of coin. And the next game might have even more. I'm not sure how much they can optimize in full blown super shiny HD with that much content before the console starts to shit itself.

If they were able to make Mario Galaxy look absolutely beautiful on the Wii, I'm sure that they can make another gorgeous game on a graphically superior console.

There's an unused Kamek emblem in Mario Kart 8's files

Prepare your bungholes for more DLC, friends

The jams shall overtake us all. It started with Super Slam Bros, and we just couldn't stop.

It's a me, YOSHI!

Also, the game will have 40+ skins from Amiibo, I'm really feeling the hype.

Not having Pokemon skins I can understand, but no Toad skin? Why?

As I side note, I love how using a Yarn Yoshi Amiibo gives you a Yarn Yoshi double, but either two other Yoshi Amiibos gives you a regular Yoshi as a double.

EDIT: It turns out that Toad might actually work after all.

Because they know you can't live without the Olympic Game video games.

And let's not forget the new Doctor Mario & Luigi game.

Hey, at least the music in those games is good

Sega makes 10/10 Mario remixes
If only they made more remixes of their own Sonic music

90% of sonic music is remixes of sonic music, honestly. it's just usually of lesser known tracks. tails' theme from SA1 is actually a remix of bridge zone, for example.

i'm honestly surprised the M&S games are still going?? i mean, i see why people like them, but honestly i would not expect mario and sonic competing in the fucking olympics to be a genre that does so well.
