The last day or so I've noticed I lag sometimes when I'm in overflow, but other than that I haven't noticed any problems.

is there any way to respec traits other than to buy the training manuels? And if so, if you're master level and buy the level 11 book, does that work?

I tried the engineer.

I deleted it at level 7.

I also play the small mouse like things since they look like Stitch. I play an elementalist on one of those though. Ele's are kinda fun, since I keep going OH GOD WHAT DO I DO TO DO THE MOST DAMAGE THIS EARTH THING HAS A LOT OF BLEEDING DAMAGE OH NO WHAT ABOUT FIRE FIRE DOES A LOT OF DAMAGE MY BRAIN CELLS.

This video showed up.

I didn't buy Guild Wars 2, so I don't have any experience and the video might be all BS. Discuss.

The only thing i'm disappointed about is that the trading post has been down for like 3 days.

I am dissapointed with some classes since they are annoying in the way they are played, hence the engineer since they are mine based or so someone told me, but it's really which thing you like most. #1 thing I hate about Guild Wars 2 - they make fighting more than one monster impossible most of the time, but encourage it by the amount of monsters trailing you constantly rather than allowing you to simply 1v1 a monster. The amount of AoE skills effect this heavily, since easily aggro'd creatures jump in on the fray in an instant, making you a pile of nothing. Other then that, I sort of like the things Guild Wars 2 brings to the fray, but the video is true to its entitlements. It doesn't bring anything new to the MMO world, it just spins it in a different way.

I played the final beta weekend to see what the game was like and decide if I should be hyped for it or not. I can be a really easy person to hype for any new mmo that might come out, but after playing Guild Wars 2 I really didn't find myself clamoring for more.

The game was fun but I just felt really overwhelmed by what was going on around. It was like information overload and there wasn't a lot of help in the beginning although it may have just been that the Sylvari were new I dunno. They made the game really open-world which is awesome but kind of like the guy in the video said I don't see any point in leveling since I can just head to the pvp area and have everything at my fingertips.

It removes a lot of the busywork in mmos so it's a hell of a lot easier to get into.

Don't really know what that's supposed to mean, they have bombs and grenades and stuff, but they have just as much variety as any other class.

It all depends on how you manage your skills and targets, if you're going into a group with a kit that only attacks 1 enemy at a time you're gonna get wrecked. I'm not saying you're doing this, i have no way of knowing how you're playing the game. But I've seen person after person complain that their class is underpowered or a skillset sucks when they're just using it in the wrong kind of fight.

The only real problem I have with the game is the pacing of the main story line. It started out that I could explore as I did the quest, but the farther I get I need to to progress. But everything in the video is completely valid.

Whooo, playing an engineer Charr of the Iron legion. Too soon to judge but I think I'll like this game a lot.

Unfortunately, couldn't join maguuna because the timezones would probably prevent me from being on the server much when it's active.

You can still join the guild if you'd like, guilds are cross server. Parties might be as well but I haven't tried.

I half agree with what the video is saying.

First off, yes, the graphics and sound are amazing, and it really immerses you in this fictional world.

Secondly, I somewhat agree that the gameplay could use help. I wish you could mix and match your first 5 skills without having to swap weapons(which is impossible in the middle of a battle). Having your first 5 skills set in stone, and your last 5 skills widely customizable with like 40 different options is kinda weird and polar opposites. Maybe they should have some middle ground.

I am just lvl 20, so I can't talk much about whether or not they actually took the grind out, but it looks like they did a wonderful job. You can explore different places and level up without just sitting in one area and doing the same thing over and over again.
Sometimes I am in an area for a while, so an event happens multiple times while I am there, but I don't get the feeling that it is repetitive because they are so fun to do, teaming up with 20 random people who just happened to be in the same area you were.

World v World seems like a cool idea, but really, even though low leveled people have 'access' to it, doesn't mean they will actually be of much use in it. In massive PvP, you really have to know what you are doing or you will get wrecked without even knowing it. It takes more then a few days to get used to the game and be able to do something like that.

The crafting system seems awesome, but it seems like its sort of non-useful at first. You can make things that are useful, but you don't know about them. So you end up wanting to make something high leveled, so you make 50 basic items that don't do anything to level up so you can make the item you want. It just seems like it could use more guidance in the system.
