the last boss was actually...kinda pitiful. i just did circles around em and pew-pewed as a magic archer at lvl 53-55 ish range

also how the fuck do you get the ur-dragon to come fight you. ive waited inside, constantly run in and out of the arena, etc. he only showed up ONCE and that was the first time i saw him, for a whole of 5 fucking seconds before he flew away again

Well its a beginning and late game. Its more annoying than anything cause of the totems u have to break to get the fog destroyed

Man I'll have to go and explore there when I'm done with this quest. It looks like a cool place.
I just got Maul's Badge of blah blah blah, does that mean thieves in this region won't attack me? And it's a stupid item for a quest.
If I made a forgery would I be able to turn it in like normal?

It just gave me a literal duplicate of the item, last time I got a shitty one labeled "Forgery".
This seems pretty useless, outside of attempting things with the gold idol.

Does it actually speed up the spell casting? I never noticed a difference.

From what I read, if you really like a quest item you can make a forgery and either keep that for aesthetics or turn it in and keep the real one. This will bite you in the booty later on some things though.

I think it's a pretty interesting mechanic.

Well so far I know this.
Giving a forgery to Caxton will lock his special inventory, meaning you'll need to wait until NG+ to get the bettter equiptment. I'm sure if you copied the Grimoire before giving it to the NPC in Gran Soren he would (story spoilers) Come to your aid when you were fighting the giant Griffin in Blue Moon Tower. Which, by the way, has re-spawning loot.
I'm not too sure about the document you get from one of the salvation members.
But I gave the real one to the guard when he came up and asked me for it. and the fake one to the duke. I figured the other guy would know it's a forgery and what not. Especially since I had a bad experience with them, haha.
