Yeah, the infestation affecting her actions doesn't make much sense when at the very end of Starcraft she killed the Overmind and became the ruler of the Zerg.

This vid is interesting because it shows what perfect micro would look like, what it would do to balance and how far even the top players still are from achieving it.

I kinda want HotS but I'm too bad at RTS Games for it to be worth the 60 bucks.

It's 40 bucks, since it's an expansion, but you'll need Wings of Liberty too.

Edit: You can get them both together for 60.

Compiled list of WoL to HotS balance changes.

How one player can completely change a game
Very good read, even if you never followed Brood War or even Starcraft. Insightful on a strategical perspective and to see how metagames can evolve.

Holy fucking shit prepare your balls for May 2nd. The world will end at 19:10 GMT+9. For more info read this write-up that I shamelessly stole from reddit.

The GSL, now known as the World Championship Series Korea, is the most prestigious individual league in Starcraft 2. The premier division of this league - Code S - contains 32 of the best players in Starcraft 2. After 16 are knocked out in the first group phase, another group phase is played. Four players are seeded by the number of points accrued in previous GSLs. Each seed is a member of a different group and gets to choose their first opponent. The opponent they choose picks another, and so on, until there are four groups of four players, from which two will advance to the knockout rounds (Ro8 -> Semi-finals -> Finals).

PartinG, the winner of two world championships and arguably the best protoss player in the world, was a seed for this Ro16 group selection. Instead of picking an easy opponent, he picked his rival, the player who beat him in the final of GSL Blizzard Cup, and whom he knocked out in the last GSL - Life. Life is a prodigy, a freak of nature who has won five premier championships in the space of five months. He is indisputably the best zerg and best overall player in the world. Either because he did not want to show weakness, or because he is supremely confident, Life chose to add INnoVation to the group. Although he does not have the same resume as the former two, he is one of the two best terran players in the world and is in frightening form. With the crowd at his back, he completed the group of death by choosing Flash... the player who was a prodigy before it became cool, the greatest StarCraft: Brood War player in history, and the man revered as 'God'. He joins INnoVation as the other great terran player of today.

If each of these four players made it to the semi-finals, that would be the strongest semi-finals of all time. Whoever the two players are that advance from this group, either of them is a favourite to win the whole tournament.

TL;DR: The (arguably) best protoss, the best zerg, and the two best terran players are in a knockout group for the Ro16 of the most prestigious StarCraft 2 tournament in the world. Four man enter, two man leave.

Edit: Forgot to link where the matches will be streamed, here.

I wish HotS had some of the double missions like WoL did. I guess the unit mutations make up for it though.

I went with:
Raptor Zerglings (hardest choice)
Lurker Hydralisks(because nostalgia [I like that the lurker den isn't a different building])
Hunter Banelings (kinda hard, would change, though; no cliffs where it's good to ambush)
Vile Roaches (I used kerrigan in most of my fights and she had spawn baneling soo)
Brood Lord Mutalisks (Final desicion came down to it looking cooler)
Creeper Swarm Hosts (Another difficult choice, final decision was to use them with pressurized glands)
Torrasque Ultralisks (because fuck you don't kill my units that take an hour to make)

And I've been trying to get used to using the hotkeys instead of clicking all of the things. I think I hit 20 apm :V

I need to figure out how to hit hard and hit fast so I can at least take out medium bots.

The rocket mine is also my favorite unit ever

Focus on your macro (don't get supply blocked, continually make workers, keep your cheddar low and use mules/injects/chrono boosts), take a fast expansion (before second pylon/OL/supply depot) and get a bunch of units out so you can hold off the first attack. The AI falls apart after that.

Usually my first thing to get is a reactor barracks as Terrans after maxing supply on workers. I'll try what you said, though.
