The GBA was already dead when the Lite came out why would they keep it for another redesign? It saved them cheddar. It had the GBA slot in the first place because GBA was still in production when the DS first came out.

Pfft no. I know I sound like a stuck record but I like having consoles with backwards compatibility. I know the 3DS will play DS games but I still miss the GBA slot.

Eh whatever. I'll just keep my SPs until they die and then get new ones online. I want to have access to my GBA games.

I noticed this thing has an SD Card slot, does the DSi have that as well?

Maybe Virtual Console games can be downloaded onto the SD Card from the Wii and played on this thing?

I don't know. I think Wiis have a special code in them that prevent SD cards from being used by any console other than the one that downloaded content onto it.

I tried to give Tuxedo Mask an SD card with Majora's Mask downloaded onto it and it wouldn't play on his console.

the sd cards only save the save files.

Well, I guess the SD Card slot has gotta be for transferring photos/3D photos to a computer as well.

It's been quite a long while since Nintendo released an update that allowed you to run VC/Wiiware games straight off an SD card. They're still only playable with the console they were purchased with/gifted to.

If your retailer isn't an asshole, I'm pretty sure he'd let you transfer your games.

Because not everyone has an emulator or still have their 64.

Secondly, portability allows people to play them in easier spurts.

I never could get into fusion.

Zero mission however is honestly the only metroid I've bothered to complete.

I'd still be fine with just Game Boy and GBC games, though. There must be a lot of good ones I haven't played cause I was so young back then :<

I still have Ocarina of Time on the N64 AND the Virtual Console but it doesn't stop me from wanting to get the 3DS remake for few reasons

1st - it's one of my favorite games of all time, I never get tired of playing it

2nd - It's got a new revamped design to it and that is reason enough for me to get the remake. I so badly want to see how Impa and Malon and all other characters look in the new version
