Mat and Woolie's Donkey Kong Country playthrough is pretty hype.

Another LPer that I like is The Dark Id. He does screenshot Let's Plays supplemented by youtube videos. You can find most of his stuff on the Let's Play Archive.

If you have never heard of cr1tikal, then go watch his videos now. His delivery combined with the absurdity of his sentences as well as the absurdity of the games that he plays forms something magical.

Man, The Grumps' Zombies Ate My Neighbors run-through is kinda stressful to watch. Haven't been stressed like this sense I last played ZAMN!

Game Grumps' playthrough of Goof Troop is pure gold. I also enjoy watching HCBailly playing RPGs and stuff.

I'm loving the Two Best Friends' playthrough of Heavy Rain. They maintain consistent commentary about the game whilst still being hilarious.

Also, due to fan demand, they're now showing gameplay highlights, flashbacks, and first-person segments (as well as turning the subtitles on) for their MGS4 Let's Watch. It's a pretty good improvement. It's going to be hilarious watching them talk about everything that'll go down in Act 3.

Well, just finished reading Dark Id's LP of Drakengard. I'm now depressed.

Man, that Dream re-fight on Chipcheezum's NMH2 lp. I wish I could just post that in the dumb text thread.

Freeman's Mind remains to be the best thing on the internet I have ever seen.

Have you read his Xenogears LP? It's has a ton of parts to it but it's amazing.

Indeed I have read his XG LP. It was his occasional references to Drakengard in that LP that got me to find a Drakengard LP, which he just so happened to have. And now I'm reading his Chrono Cross LP. It was either that or Dirge of Cerebus (which he had a panic flashback to in DG), DG2 (starring the son of Inuart) or Nier (rhythm game).

Any game that ends with the main characters getting glassed by fighter jets is OK in my book.

It's not a Rhythm game, I think he's referring to the final battle at that specific Drakengard ending that led to Nier.
