No, the sword was specifically crafted to fight ANYONE who misused the triforce

But that cant be right. The game takes place when the sword is created, yet it says that by the time of the Imprisoning war, no one worthy of wielding it had been found, yet Link was there, even at the creation of the sword.

This is from LTTP, so if it really is about the creation of the sword, the whole story wasn't known

I really, really like the art style.

It is like they were thinking "hmmm should we go with the Wind Waker art style or the Twilight Princess art style" and then decided "Aw screw it let's just mix them together and see what happens."

Actually, when Ocarina of Time started the Master Sword was already in the Temple of Time.

Link even needed the keys to the temple to attain the sword in the first place (Three Spiritual Stones, Ocarina of Time, Song of Time).

Zelda and Link sought the keys to the Temple of Time to reach the Sacred Realm and protect the Triforce. Instead what Link found was the Master Sword. When he pulled on the Master Sword (which was already in the temple) a path to the Sacred Realm opened. Ganondorf then used this path to reach the Triforce.

I think ganon will be the main villain. I still hold the belief that Ganondorf was merely used as a vessel for the evil demon-king Ganon (as well as named after him ). I can obvs see a new villain too, but for now I want to hypothesize that we'll be dealing with the original Ganon, if such an entity exists...

This game could be what Minish Cap was to the Four Sword saga.

EDIT: Also I just saw the picture of the flaming skull whip. Awesome.

I think the real first instance of Ganon was really in Ocarina of Time where the Triforce of Power corrupts his dark soul and turns him into a beast.

Then all the other blue Pig Demons out there are just the corrupted form of Ganondorf.

Word, that's basically the truth as we know it and it probably won't change.

I always liked to think that Ganon was just some kind of evil entity that we the players never really knew about (In OoT anyways). Ganondorf is named after him and Twinrova grooms him to be some kind of vessel for this huge evil when push comes to shove so that he can take over Hyrule. Then when the Triforce of Power corrupts him, bam, it happens.

Just fan theory, but I've found I'm not the only one to hold it. Plus it always just seemed weird to me that Ganondorf just sort of randomly decides to shorten his name when he becomes Ganon.

S'possible that since he was masquerading as a good guy he chose the name Ganondorf (not very subtle) and then later on he decided since he had already gotten everything he wanted he just dropped the 'dorf.
