Something else I feel obligated to mention. If you're having trouble playing the game by yourself in the online mode, you can switch the game to an easier single player mode when creating your game (I think it's under Game Mode, could be wrong). It's significantly easier, and you get some 'story' quests out of it.

According to the forums the game makes AV go crazy. Interferes with the game.

Of course I haven't had any problems with either MSE or Symantec, so I dunno.

You are going straight into the program files folder and running online.exe as an admin, right? It's the only foolproof method i've found to get it to work, shortcuts and all.
