Seriously, I regret renting that game so much, I can't even see the movie in the same way I did before.

That does sound like a huge waste of time and cheddar over a fruity-booty piece of shit. WHY NINTENDO? WHY?

Once again: Nintendo does NOT make every single videogame released on their consoles! I would've thought it was basic knowledge, but apparently some people still think it so.

On the next topic: BSODs and Microsoft - hardly related

Just adding: Any dance game for the Wii that requires you to shake the wiimote in every single way. It never works correctly. (Not including DDR, obviously)

What I meant to say was "why did you let such a stupid game on your console?"

Shovelware? On a Nintendo platform? Blasphemy; they're teh hardcorez.

Call me crazy, but I have the feeling that this new 'Wii' thing will turn out great for the hardcore gaming industry.

Because refusing to allow a game to be published for the sole reason that the testers don't like it is an absolutely horrible thing to do. Its very bad business, its borderline fascist, and it absolutely destroys small developers who do need to put out budget games now and again to stay afloat. Now stop getting your opinions from 4chan or whatever and think sensibly.

Actually, come to think of it, I'd make a guess that you didn't even hear of the game before. Because:
1: It got an average rating of 63%. Lower than average, but still reasonable.
2: It was also released on the other two consoles of the time as well.
Owch to you.

What I don't understand is why third party developing companies bother to make these games. Do they actually turn a profit?

Yes, quite a reasonable amount too. Same as full commercial B-movies (I mean proper cinema-released ones, not little college film stuff).

Of course, because every kid 5-10 needs every single game based off his/her favorite 3-D kid's movie.

It's sad, but true. I have many young cousins. I know these things.

Worst game I ever played was Fuzion Frenzy 2, I forgot which console it was on but it was nothing more than about 40 or so badly made mini-games.

Yeah this thread.

Seems like looking for the worst video game is like looking for the sand-iest grain of sand.

All too true...

Also, almost any game by THQ is bad... there are a couple of good ones, but they're hard to find.

That fire boss (I think it was a wolf-thing of some sort?) may have been the most annoying thing in a video game I have ever heard.

BURN BURN TO THE GROUND BURN BURN TO THE GROUND BURN TO THE GROUND BURN BURN BURN TO THE GROUND BURN!
With absolutely no pauses in between is frantic, repetitive screaming
