So one of my friends got it at midnight at launch. He brought it to school. Dang the Joy-Cons are small. The thing is also ridiculously light compared to what I thought it would be.

I would probably have tried to buy one. But I just got home today after a week in the hospital, minus a lodged gallstone and my gallbladder.

Little disappointed I didn't at least get some kind of pictures. Aside from one internal view from when they did the endoscopy of where they used a hot wire to cauterize-cut a wider opening for the stones. (And still couldn't get the lodged one out until they crushed it.)

I was able to play a Switch over the weekend, it seems cool. I played Snipperclips with a friend, it's a pretty good co-op puzzle game but it seems like it would be boring by yourself. I also played Bomberman, which is Bomberman, if Konami managed to screw up fucking Bomberman I would be more impressed by the game than I already was.

Hardware issues seem to be more common than normal. Dead pixels, flickering screens, screen scratching that occurs when docking the device the wrong way, to entire screen bricking.
Additionally, the left joycon has clear connectivity issues that go away entirely when it is replaced with the antenna in the right joycon.
Reggie Fils-Aime has issued a response basically saying they haven't seen these issues before.
Shortly after that, Nintendo PR denied that there were any widespread technical issues and they are looking into the reports.
