You want me to say words? Okay, I'll say words. Whether JonTron is 'a fan' of the game, whether JonTron donated cheddar to a kickstarter to have his voice put in the game, it. Doesn't. Matter. Playtonic decided, as a company, that they would rather let him go than have his face and his words associated with their game. Whether they gave him his cheddar back or not, they are in their rights to cut him from the game if he says or does something that they don't want to be representative of their company.
Did you know that family members of airline workers are required to follow a dress code when they fly? It's because while they are flying they are representing the airline on behalf of their families. And they can be barred from flying if they do not follow that dress code, whether they have a ticket or not.
What Playtonic has done regarding JonTron is ten times less silly than any airline dresscode, and in the case of JonTron we aren't just talking about not being allowed to wear sweatpants on a plane. We are talking about a man who believes that white people are going to be 'wiped out' by the integration of other races and cultures in America. We're talking about a man who believes that wealthy black people commit more crimes than poor white people. And no, I don't fucking care that he misinterpreted that statistic. He didn't bother to fact check and he was all too willing to quote the wrong thing in the debate. We're talking about a man who believes that discrimination doesn't exist in America while simultaneously believing that reverse racism DOES.
JonTron is a white nationalist and a racist. And he's become public about it.

Are those enough words for you?
