Well, this is a playing tournament just so you know, so you'll be playing with the cards you receive from the draft, but afterwards you get to keep the cards to do whatever with.

Don't worry too much about the playing, as it's all for fun, but I am expecting everyone who signs up to be able to build a 40 card deck and know the basics of play, though opponents can help you out if you're confused, and I'll be overseeing deck-building.

I know perfectly well how to play the TCG, I tried it ages ago and didn't really like it too much.

I guess I could play again for old time's sake (I feel old saying that).
Cardwise, deck-building shouldn't be a problem (except for the fact that I have like no doubles, I do believe.)

40 card deck will be interesting. How many Pokemon/Energy cards would be good for a 40 card deck?

Also, downloaded the TCG online thing today. Haha the computer players are so dumb, also the yellow starter deck is pretty fun.

Depends on the deck. Some can get away with a 1 Pokemon 39 energy deck (usually for EX's), but you usually look at 20-20, with trainers subbing for cards (which you usually don't get many of because they're uncommon).

Lol, the game client has a little chat box at the bottom corner. It's full of people putting up trades and one guy pointing out how the game was a memory leak. I am amused.
