And you have to buy every future mega update, like when the Nether came out. You would have to pay for the nether.

Have alpha, you get every update from now and until its completed for freeeeee.

Gah can't wait until Notch makes multiplayer less glitchy. (which is what i hope Beta will bring)

I can assume we'll be losing what we've all been working on?

I don't think that's necessarily true.

Well, I mean, I hope not, but didn't the site say not to get comfortable with your saves, something like that?

I'm pretty certain that's in regard to the fact that it could have some glitches that won't ensure the integrity of your save files continued existence.

FINALLY, I got Minecraft legit, and before beta too. better hurry people, once alpha's over, the price will double and you wont get all future updates of the game like Notch promised in alpha.

ANYWAY, here's my Cosmic Luigi Skin http://minecraft.net/skin/skin.jsp?user=TheCosmicLuigi
Not bad , Eh? (I just used the Mario skin and changed it to my liking.)

What we mean is are you playing on a multiplayer server? If so, where? And if where, can we play too?

It's a server for Infinity bros. Make an account and send a pm to Thorbinator about access to the minecraft server. (You can guest it before you join but can't do anything but punch mobs and check things out.)

Im making a church for my little town right now

I wanted it to be white, like many churches are, so im using sheep wool to build it. Im also using diamond, gold, and iron blocks to make stained glass windows. The windows are looking much better than I expected.

Theres also a small graveyard in the back

Ive still got a ways to go on the whole thing though.

I can only harvest wool during the daytime

If you create a large fenced-in area or building, and provide it with plenty of light, animals will spawn throughout the day and night, as long as the ground is grassy.

I made an entirely padded room with a one-way door for when the inevitable happens.

So I'm sending my water right at my lava and they're definitely colliding but I'm not getting obsidian?

Am I doing something wrong?

Also YCobb, obsidian can only be made when non-flowing lava hits water.
