He looks absolutely terrifying and I love it.
I'm fangirling all over the place.

I played bots as new soraka and she is very fun. She really feels like a mobile ambulance now and fits her role much better. Her new abilities are very fun as well, the heal she gets from her q is pretty substantial if you hit more than one champ. I'm not used to Equinox yet but it does have some uses to cut off escape routes. I'm also not used to her heal being up pretty much all the time now but you really have to be careful with it because she loses health quickly if you're spamming it. Overall she's just so much more fun than she was before

Had a chance to try her in an ARAM. She seems like a good choice for a poke-disengage sort of team comp. Her Q is difficult to aim well, but considering I was able to keep both myself and my team pretty well healed even with the healing debuff in Abyss I'm under the impression she might be in a good place now.

Your whole post pretty much sums up my experience.

Had some lunch, and since it's quarter finals I thought "eh lets have a look at this dump". It was Samsung White against Team Solo Mid, the third game. Good lord everything moves so fast and the organisation is so tight, even though it was roughly 40 minutes it felt like it was only 10.

It feels weird though how people talk about it, it's just a video game mang

I guess I have to admit watching competetive League (atleast the championship now) is entertaining afterall. I also guess it was to be expected that the same characters get picked again and again, but I still wish there was a bit more variety.

The meta always changes and different champs get picked in the pro scene because of it. Champs like Shyv and Ziggs got phased out during this season. Alistar is now a common ban, as are Zilean and Maokai. You never see Vi or Elise anymore. Rumble made his way back into top. No more support Annie or Zyra. The top AD pool has never been as diverse as it is now (granted Lucian and Trist are still the toppest of the top but I digress). I don't have the exact stats, but I'm willing to bet a larger percentage of champs were picked this Worlds than last year's.

AP Trist jungle doesn't work very well.
I'll stick to her top instead.

AD Thresh is like if Mike Tyson managed to get Dhalsim's stretchy limbs and disguise himself as a turtle.

When I read Reaper Soraka, I was excited. But then I saw the model... well, it's still in development, so hopefully it gets better.

I read the Azir bug list they (mostly) fixed for 4.18, and wow I'm kinda glad I didn't play him at all even though I wanted to, because it feels like he needs to be relearned with all the crap you had to work around with, gee.
