Somehow I have a feeling that we have to wait until the event is over for Azir to be released. I hope I am wrong though, because I really want to play that guy.

Man, fuck this icon. I really want it, but it's so fucking impossible to get, ugh. There's only so much League I can play in a day, and it's definitely not helping that you get pisspoor amounts of IP for this

One of the reasons I switched to Dota 2. Games of League (And MOBA's in general) take a lot of time and you get so little IP for it.

I got it first try.
It really helps to have a group to coordinate with other than randoms.
I also had Yorick.

I can't really argue since I'm a rich person and quite a few champs were purchased trough RP, but in all honesty I don't mind the IP "grind". It depends on the mode you're playing how many points you get, and Ascension gives as many as ARAM, which is the lowest point giver. I can understand it for ARAM, everyone gets a random champ, there's only one lane, it's very fast and chaotic. For Ascension however, it's way more organised and should give atleast Dominion rewards, even when it's not that much more.


Yeah and I have no one to play with, except sceb. And he's as coordinated as a random, so in the end it doesn't really matter if I keep going solo queue or not.



In other news, I'm one of those who don't really care if LoL is detaching itself from the original lore, but I noticed that the bio updates really are that short, and I thought they were just a quick summary. They don't even want to put 10 more minutes anymore into writing a backstory for the characters? Fucking come on

The little blurbs are only for in-client, the proper lore is still on the website. I do still wish it was fleshed out more though. I think the shortened blurbs are in preparation for a UI overhaul where they'll prolly devote less space to champ lore in-game.

So, finally got to try Azir in a beginner bot and custom match. Things I've found out:
- Soldiers work with Spell Vamp
- Runaan's does not work with Soldiers
- Kinda obvious, but Zhonya's stops Soldier's attack - so no Heimerdingering around
- Auto attack gains crazy, crazy range
- Guinsoo's is actually a good item

No insight on his turret yet, I didn't try it once. Since I'm off tomorrow, maybe I'll actually do some team builder matches and crap around there. I can definitely see where people are coming from that he's going to be difficult, but daisies if I wasn't excited for him and he feels good to play, I'm going to learn him and then be one of those players in 3 to 4 month who will be scary as hell.

You can build Azir's turret where Xerath spawns in Ascended mode.

I think that sums up perfectly what's happening right now.


I wasn't able to play yesterday, but I still got a thought there. I was thinking of Banner of Command for Azir, if it would increase the damage of the Sand Soldiers. But since minions all have HP bars, and the Soldiers do not, I think it won't work as they are likely not considered minions at all.
Too bad though, I mean, it does have a lot of AP and CDR, and with even more empowered Soldiers, it would be another core item next to Nashor's.

I'm still toying around with different items to test the synergy before I go into a real match, there's enough stuff I wasn't able to try out in only 2 beginner bot and 1 custom game. After I had some real matches, the fine tuning with runes will start, ugh.

I will be in bronze 3 forever.
