Why is it that when I play tank Thresh top, I mostly go up against Riven or Teemo? Somehow that just happens to be the case, that the majority of my matchups are my most and least favored ones.

They're really popular top-laners. Especially in blind pick where they are generally safe picks.

Blind speculation and non-access to the PBE still has me a little confused about Azir's passive. Does it occur automatically or is it actually a fifth active? Is it affected by CDR? Does it effectively make him the most unchaseable thing this game's ever seen?

From what I understand if he's near a turret an indicator pops up that he can click and and then the sun disc builds like a tf2 sentry before completing. It's also on a static three minute cooldown like Zac's passive so you can't abuse it.

It also has a time limit on itself and loses all of its durability if he leaves.
To my understanding, he can only have one at a time and has to babysit it to keep it up.

So yes, just like the engineer from TF2.
