Sorry for being so silent about this, but the reason people have not been whitelisted is because we don't think the server is ready for more people. We are still working on plugins and proletariats as well as rooting out bugs. I gotta say that I am glad people are interested, but I can't have too many players on the server before it is configured properly.

A pure IC2 server i was on a while ago had a nuclear reactor. I joined just in time for them to decide to blow it sky high with nukes. Server didn't lag if you stayed far enough away from the crater

I guess it is about time I give you guys some news, so here we go.

The reason I have been tight with details is that our first test uncovered a lot of things we had to work on and learn. proletariats don't work like plugins do, so we had to learn everything from scratch and try to make it all work like we wanted to. This became a bigger challenge than we thought it would become.

Secondly, I have been in a state of limbo for a few months as I could not plan ahead. I didn't want to start working heavily on this when other peoples decisions could change what opportunities I have for the future. Now these decisions have been made and I won't be having regular access to internet for 2 years. This means that no matter what I want to do, I can't do it.

This brings me to the final point. Not having internet access means I can't manage a server. Thus, the server will be shut down as of now. I don't like taking this decision, but I don't really have much choice.
