That still works today. Perfectly.

I saw that one this weekend.
Cursed to play Tetris Demos in New York for all eternity.

A nuclear gameboy playing a Russian puzzle game. Oddly fitting. Because Cold War, get it?

Relax, guys. It could be worse.

like the DS Lite hinge

You could probably build a house out of original gameboys and it would outlast the earth itself.

I'm kind of dissapointed that we only get to pick NES and GBA games. I was hoping for a free Super Mario Land. Then again, free games!

3DS GET!

although it was hell to get.

My mom and I went to target to get the promo of trading in your old DS for cash towards 3DS. So we went to some Indian guy who handles trade ins (turns out he is part of another store) and i tell him about the promo. i see on his computer in big letters "DS PROMO" so i tell him to click, and it shows the promo that i was looking for. but instead of giving it to me, he flat out refused to do it, tried to search dsi on his trad-in website and it only came up to 21 dollars. I argued with him, but he just wouldn't listen. and then we went down to customer support. they sent us right back up, but with some sort of security guard. We argued some more. then i noticed there was a button on the webpage to actually activate the promo. i tell him to press it, and it finally values my DSi at 75 bucks. so i traded it in, got my 3DS, along with a game (cube ninja, which was TERRIBLE, but its the only game that was on sale.).

Is it really the town with nobody that plays videogames that has the only Gamestop on the planet with competent employees?
Really?

Holy fuck I feel special. Like "I can get people who don't try to sell me magazine subscriptions I already have" special. Special like a person who gets pointed to the cheapest most working piece of hardware for the best deals instead of $80 used MadCatz.
It's 2011, and tiny text is still pretentious, especially when invisible.

Wait, what was wrong with the DS Lite hinge? The only hinge I've had trouble with was the DS... that started making a cracking sound everytime I opened the system after 2 years of no problems...

Which resulted in me buying a Dialga and Palkia DSLite... a month before the DSi was announced...

I've yet to have any problems with my DS Lite... :/

As far as I know the Lite's hinge was fine. The original's, on the other hand, were pretty fragile. I know a handful of my friends (including me) who had the smaller hinge broken or chipped.

A ton of people I know who've had lites have had the hinge bust on them, actually. Enough that if you didn't peel the registration sticker on the bottom off Nintendo of Australia will repair it free of charge.

I had two DS Lite hinges break on me. I ended up trading in my second one for a DSi and ended up getting a little taken off the deal they had when it first came out because of it.
