Use the VS Seeker. Trainer battles give 1.5 times the amount of EXP a regular wild battle would.

The dayum thing doesn't work in caves though and I despise water fights cause... Well I just do..
(Meaning I refuse to use it in the ocean near Victory Road or on those stupid fisherman by Sunnyshore)
PKMN TEEM:
lvl 47 Honchkrow
lvl 45 Infernape (I HATE HIM)
lvl 49 Girafarig
lvl 50 Dialga
lvl 50 Manaphy
lvl 50 Garchomp

Not to be rude or anything but wow my team could destroy yours.

No doubt, I've lost everyone except my Garchomp to a single Golbat in Victory Road once... Sad thing is, all my pokemon in my PC are lvls 30 and lower ending at lvl 3...

Sucks even more that EVA-01 is holding onto my lvl 100 Deoxys, Arceus, Darkrai, Porygon, and another Dialga from before I started over and I keep forgetting to ask for them back...

I've been playing Diamond (because I lost LeafGreen forever ago along with every other pokemon game I own) and I made it past all 8 gyms and ended up with lvl 45 pokemon and even made it past Victory Road...
Elite 4 have 50+ lvl pokemon...
And the only viable training area is Victory road which only has Steelix, Golbat, Machoke, Onyx, Graveler, Kadabra, and that one fighting/psychic dude...

LAME

Only 5 levels under?

My favorite time in the Pokemon games is always about fighting the Elite 4 while 15 levels under them :D

I think I last beat Pokemon Red with a team of level 40 or so. Which sucks, because for PokemonBattleRevolution, they do rather need to be level 50 at least!

I have pokemon in my BR that are under level 50. In fact, I beat my Battle Revolution with that team.

I think it's more fun to fight the Elite Four with underleveled pokemon. It forces you to fight strategically and make sure you ALWAYS have a type advantage.

Um... I think I do that all the time anyway.

I always switch out if I have a type-advantage Pokemon on hand.

On that note, anybody ever play the game using 'Set' battle style instead of 'Shift' battle style? 'Set' forces you to keep your Pokemon out when your opponent switches Pokemon after a KO.

I can't say I've played it that way on a long-term basis.

I have for the entirety of Colosseum, simply because all double battles are 'set' battle style.
It really doesn't make that much of a difference, one turn normally doesn't make much of an impact on the tougher battles. The only thing I can think different about my strategy is that I couldn't simply switch out after using Hyper Beam.

I can see why they did that, but it bugs me too. I liked having an advantage on the computer.

That, or it forces you to buy 99 revives and 99 Full Restores... :|

I'm so ready to finally get a Darkrai. I'm glad I actually get to catch it rather than having the event just give me the pokemon.

So I'm trying to decide on a moveset for my Milotic. So far I have Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, and Recover, which are the standards for Milotic. I'm contemplating either adding Substitute or Attract to the last slot, but I could also just fill it with Toxic. Any advice, please?

Depends. Are you talking about a good Pokemon against AI or against players? Because Attract is utterly useless for the latter.
