It's not that mortals can't go there, but rather there is no Door in Nirn to that plane, so it's impossible to access it from the physical world.

There's one unknown way to circumvent it though, which is by traveling to another plane of Oblivion and then transferring to Moonshadow.

Here's what I found: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Doors_of_Oblivion

I keep running out of magicka points and since it only lets you chug four potions at a time I wanted to look into enchanting stuff.

Fortify the school you use most, probably destruction.

This whole modded civil war quest line might've been more impressive if it hadn't been so bugged. The main two annoyances were that 1) enemy crossbowmen dealt ridiculous damage, enough to sometimes one shot me through my 370 health and 430 armor rating and 2) despite being best buddies with the imperials, they would sometimes consider me an enemy when taking over a city and there was nothing I could do besides sneak around and wait for the quest to finish. This only seemed to affect imperial NPCs added by proletariats and the way they attacked me was very erratic, where sometimes they would totally ignore me and act friendly, then proceed to turn hostile for no reason.

Yes, and with high enchantment or potion abuse you can get up to 100% because the enchantments stack cumulatively.

Been playing Morrowind in order to finally beat it so I can cross it off my backlog.

Out of all my playthroughs I finally managed to beat the person and people in that shrine under Vivec. The one to Mehrunes Dagon. The one out front was the toughest, since my arrows did maybe a tenth of her health so I jumped into the water to let her run around while I kept peppering her before she also came in.

Healed up, went inside the shrine and found out that if I didn't move I would only get the attention of one person. Equipped a set of magic glass arrows I'd found and cut her down. Then I pulled one other person by shooting through the statue's legs for a sneak attack and got him down. Healed up and went after the final guy.

Died lots of times before I stopped trying to do archery with him. Cast Bound Axe, drank an invisibility potion, and sneak attacked him to take 3/4 of his health in one blow and knocking him to the ground. He didn't get back up.

For good measure I healed up again, took the cursed emerald, and beat down the Dremora that spawned. So total loot from the shrine is 4 Sanguine items (keeping Marksman and Longsword), a Daedric Longsword the last guy was using, and an assortment of jewels + gold. I was Level 5.

So while trolling about for proletariats I found the best Skyrim video ever made.

Sometimes I wonder how many people miss the two gauntlets behind the coffin after fighting Dagoth Gary. The ones with +20 Strength and +20 Agility respectively. The ones that are now never coming off me ever.

Also I'm having fun seeing how even a random dungeon can have a story to it. Found two mages who'd summoned scamps to dig up an ancient Daedric tomb, I went through the passage and fought my way past three Dremora Lords to reach the sealed door, unlocked it and battled the Golden Saint waiting inside, then claimed the entirety of the loot. Daedric Battleaxe, Staff, Shield, and Helm for free, plus some glass. Then I spied the true prize hanging way up on the wall. Eidolon's Ward, an artifact Ebony Tower Shield, worth 200,000 gold.

I just got done doing most of Solstheim. Pretty cool place.

Now I should get on doing the Theives Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Main storyline.

So apparently I just accidentally killed an Ash Vampire by nailing him with a Paralyze arrow and just keeping up the barrage. Didn't even know it was a boss before I hit him, I just saw him at the end of the hall in Kogoruhn and employed long-distance tactics.

I hate when I sneak arrow somebody and they end up not being an enemy. Makes it rather embarrassing.

For that reason, I only shoot if they are obviously a "bandit/skeleton/vampire", and just run in to unknown situations to see if they are hostile or not. Sometimes I make a save beforehand to go back and shoot them once I verify their allegiance. :)

Oh he was an enemy all right. One of the seven bosses to weaken the final one. I was just supposed to kill him much later, not in the middle of the main quest. He was Level 20 and I was Level 7.

I fought some sort of really powerful ghost king guy through some stealth archery. But the catch was I was super low leveled.
So I would shoot him, run behind a corner, and then sneak back and shoot him again x20 times.

It was pretty hilarious.

EDIT:

OOOOOOOH. SO THATS WHY MY proletariats HAVENT WORKED.
I'm an idiot
I didn't know you had to activate them... @_@

And this is one of the things that I loved about morrowind. It gave you the opportunity to kill things that are ridiculously high compared to you and actually have a (semi-slim) chance to beat it. No "you have to do X,Y, and Z and then have this certain item in order to do this thing that takes about 30 seconds to do." Shoot, you can attempt to lockpick Vivec's palace (the god, not the town), try to kill him, and if you do somehow, you've just skipped about 90% of the main quest. THAT'S some freedom for you.
